“FUPA” is a slang acronym for Fat Upper Pubic Area, referring to a bulge of fat or a soft, pouch-like area of fat that sits directly above the groin and below the lower stomach. Popularized by Beyoncé in a 2018 Vogue interview after her pregnancy, the term describes a common body feature in both women and men that can be difficult to eliminate through diet and exercise alone.
