No Word

The common hare of England is called the brown hare. At most times of the year it does look browner than both the Irish hare and the Scottish mountain hare, but there is no word to describe that mixture of grey, fawn, yellow, black and brown which distinguishes it from the even colour of a brown cow or horse.
